Our Services

In Tradtec’s more than 40 years of experience, the translation process has undergone a number of major changes. Today, it’s actually hard to believe how the process worked before computers and the Internet. However, the need for translation continues to play an ever-increasing and essential role in our globalized society.

At Tradtec, we make use of the latest technological advances and draw on our wealth of experience in the translation industry to guarantee that all our translations are of the highest quality. Tradtec uses computer-assisted translation tools (CAT) to ensure terminological consistency in every translation and keeps up to date with innovations in the field. Our team members also receive regular training to keep pace with the latest technologies.

Nearly 20 years ago, in 1999, Tradtec was the first Spanish translation agency to obtain ISO quality certification. We are currently certified to the latest version of the standard (ISO 9001:2015). Based on this standard and our own internal procedures, Tradtec guarantees the confidentiality of all client documents.

All of our translators are native speakers and translate only into their native language. Translation does not involve merely dumping the source text into the target language. It also calls for knowledge of the cultural context of the target audience and involves using the appropriate writing style. Our translations are then revised by a second language professional to guarantee their quality level before final delivery to the client.

Translation

Apart from being native speakers, Tradtec’s translators specialize in a number of different fields, so we are able to translate all types of texts, including promotional leaflets, marketing texts, contracts and agreements, and scientific studies.

We translate into more than 30 languages, including Arabic, Basque, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Still not sure if Tradtec can form a key part of your communication strategy?

Certified Translation

A wide range of procedures, such as studying in or moving to a foreign country, marrying someone of a different nationality, expanding the operative scope of your business, and starting a corporate merger process, can involve the need for a certified translation.

At Tradtec, we work with a wide range of certified translators authorized by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to certify translations and apply the official stamp so they can be submitted to the competent authority in each case (embassies, consulates, universities, etc.).

Birth certificates, academic transcripts, marriage certificates, contracts, agreements, apostilles: if you need a certified translation of any of these documents, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Proofreading and Editing

Imagine you’ve arranged to print a promotional leaflet on your company and when the printer sends you all the printed copies, you notice there’s a spelling error. Or that you send your research article to an international journal for publication and it’s rejected because there are too many textual errors. There’s nothing worse than reading a published text with grammatical, spelling or stylistic errors.

At Tradtec, we can help by proofreading and editing your texts, which can improve your brand image and ultimately save you money. We can also proofread your proof sheets before printing to ensure they are letter-perfect.

Interpreting

Most people are not entirely clear on the distinction between translation and interpreting. It’s easy: a translation is written and interpreting is spoken.

Do you need an interpreter for a trade fair? Do you have a meeting with a foreign client? Do you want to meet with a potential client who speaks a different language? Don’t let language get in the way of negotiation.

You’re in good hands with Tradtec. We have experienced native liaison interpreters who will ensure your business negotiations and presentations are a success.

Transcription

Transcription is the process of converting a recording of spoken words into a written text.

There are many reasons why you might need the transcription of an audio or video file: for internal company information, to have a record of the details of a presentation or master class, or because the content must be translated into other languages.

At Tradtec, we transcribe audio and video files (DVD, CD, .mp3, .wav, etc.) of scripts, interviews, conferences, master classes and more. And, like everything else at Tradtec, our transcriptions are also done by native speakers.
